Fall Crop Gardening- PNW Homesteading Series
Learn about how to plan and plant Fall crops in the Zone 6-8 of the PNW . We will discuss succession planting, varieties good for planting now, intercropping, and Fall/Winter cold protection options and even preparing for the following growing season. The cost of the class will include taking home a tray of Fall Veggie starts now, or later after they grow out, whichever is more convenient or exciting for you.
Family friendly. Children welcome to come and learn how to grow food.
Surfaces are uneven due to being working nursery-farm space. However, we can accomodate people with mobility support with a simple email for advance notice. This is part of the Living Arts Alliance: homesteading series, offered by Cascadia Edible Landscapes (www.eatyouryard.com), who is doing the workshop. All funds go to support the mission of Living Arts Alliance. Tickets can be paid for via cash, check, credit card, or Venmo on site.
